Medical Issues

A consultation in a travel medicine clinic, before the trip, is highly recommended. Professionals will address concerns and prescribe and administer relevant medications. Generally they include malaria, yellow fever, hepatitis, a general inoculation booster and possibly a broad spectrum antibiotic.

Your personal health and first aid kit may include immodium, moleskin and or cream for treating blisters, aspirin or tylenol, insect repellant, bandaids, possibly antiseptic saturated and anti malarial medication.

Footprints requires that people disclose to the company any special medical conditions and medications which may become a factor during a trip.

Most of the time we will have access to bottled water.
